Here’s the second bunch of analytics tools we gathered for your perusal.

Check out part one here.

6 Omniture

One of the big draws to Omniture SiteCatalyst is it’s ease of generating reports that can help you make many of you business decisions. In addition to the standard tasks, Omniture will also monitor social media sites for mention of your product or company, and can also monitor mobile uses for your site. The pricing structure is tiered, so depends on your usage and what you want. To it’s credit, Omniture has an impressive list of patrons, including Ford, GM, Pepsi and CNN.

7 Webtrends
Webtrends is another solution that offers real-time online website tracking. It will also allow you to download reports through Excel, export and distribute reports and even attach notes to various data elements. Webtrends also has it’s own iPhone app that will allow you to check your site analytics from anywhere.

8 Yahoo Analytics
Yahoo purchased IndexTools, which was an established vendor. They re-branded it and IndexTools became Yahoo! Analytics. This is very similar to Google’s purchase of Urchin). Since the tools were originally a paid-for service it is packed with plenty of tools for you. One of the most lauded features is the demographic segmentation. This will allow you to fine-tune your site for the people who use it most.

9 Quantcast
In February 2010, Quantcast ranked third on Fast Company’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies on the Web list, behind Facebook and Google respectively. There are plenty of things you can do with this site, but one of our favorites is to take advantage of the Quantcast search engine. Just go to their site and type in any URL and you will be able to learn a great deal about that site.

10 Social Mention
Similar to Quantcast, Social Mention is a site that you don’t have to integrate into your site. Just type a search into their search engine and Social Mention will show you real time information on blogs, microblogs, bookmarks, comments, and even video and audio. Give it a try and see how often your brand is being talked about. You’ll also get info on frequency, sentiment and other info.
